Principal accountabilities of the position

Provide day-to-day legal support, ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.

Draft, amend and review a broad range of commercial and legal agreements to support business operations.

Negotiate agreements with third parties, ensuring commercially sound outcomes while mitigating legal risk.

Manage document execution processes, ensuring contracts are properly signed, recorded, and filed in line with internal governance standards.

Coordinate with external legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions where specialist advice is required.

Conduct basic legal research and provide clear, practical summaries to support decision-making.

Work closely with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Risk, HR, Finance, Marketing and Operations) to ensure legal considerations are embedded into business activities.

Identify legal risks and escalate where necessary, providing pragmatic and business-focused solutions.
Specific assignments/tasks of the position

Draft, review and amend agreements including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and client-facing documentation.

Support negotiation of contracts with third parties (e.g. service providers, partners, affiliates), including tracking changes and managing version control.

Handle end-to-end document execution, including coordinating signatures, maintaining records, and ensuring proper filing within central repositories.

Maintain and organise legal documentation, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance with audit requirements.

Liaise with external counsel to obtain legal advice, coordinate instructions, and manage timelines and deliverables.

Conduct legal research on regulatory requirements, licensing obligations, and jurisdiction-specific considerations.

Assist with the review of marketing materials and business initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Support internal teams by providing guidance on contractual terms, risks, and obligations.

Assist with corporate governance tasks, including preparation of basic resolutions and maintenance of statutory records.

Support dispute-related matters by gathering documentation and coordinating with relevant internal and external parties.
