Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Intake Specialist specializing in Family Law to join our legal team. This role involves managing initial client interactions and is responsible for screening leads that contact the firm to determine if they are pre-qualified to purchase legal services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, great customer service skills, and highly empathetic. Duties
- Responsible for screening leads that contact the firm to determine if they are pre-qualified to purchase legal services
- Explaining the Firm’s process for intake and engagement
- Scheduling initial consultations [and collecting payment, if applicable]
- Initiating the pre-engagement glidepath
- Capturing information in the Contact Relationship Management (CRM) System and Lead Tracker spreadsheet
- Following up with leads that do not schedule or attend an initial consultation
- Reporting on assigned metrics
Experience
- 3-5 years prior customer service experience required
- 3-5 years of intake, client services, or paralegal experience in a law firm, preferably family law, or similar professional services environment preferred
- Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Client Relationship Management (“CRM”) programs and software, particularly data tracking and reporting, required
- Empathetic and caring towards others who are going through challenging times required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and at times stressful environment
- Ability to critically think and proactive problem-solving approach
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all team members and staff
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and legal practice management software and ability for basic technical troubleshooting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
