Legal Intake Specialist (personal injury)

  • Field incoming after-hours calls from prospective personal injury clients (evenings, overnight, and weekends).
  • Conduct professional, engaging intake interviews to obtain comprehensive information regarding:
  • Accident details
  • Injuries sustained
  • Insurance information
  • Property damage
  • Supporting documentation (photos, IDs, insurance cards, etc.)
  • Assess initial case eligibility and document findings accurately in legal case management systems.
  • Clearly explain the personal injury claims process to prospective clients.
  • Send, review, and walk clients through attorney-client contracts and required documentation.
  • Confidently present and “sell” firm services while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist clients with initiating medical treatment and next steps in their case.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions using case management software.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure seamless case handoff and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in legal intake, personal injury law, legal administrative support, or paralegal work preferred.
  • Background in sales or client conversion strongly preferred.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Experience using legal case management software (e.g., Neos, PCLaw, or similar systems) preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working independently during after-hours shifts.

<Job Summary>

Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
