About the Company
Meghdoot Mercantile Pvt. Ltd. is an RBI-registered Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) operating in the digital lending space under its brand name CreditSea. The company is engaged in technology-driven financial services and operates in compliance with RBI regulations and applicable financial laws.

Role Overview
The Legal Intern will work closely with the Legal and Compliance Team and gain hands-on exposure to corporate, regulatory, and fintech-related legal work. This role is designed for students seeking practical experience in the financial services and digital lending ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze RBI regulations, NBFC guidelines, digital lending norms, and fintech compliance requirements
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising corporate and commercial agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and platform-related documents
• Support the legal team in regulatory compliance, preparation of internal policies, and legal opinions
• Assist in due diligence exercises, compliance audits, and legal risk assessments
• Track and monitor regulatory updates and circulars issued by RBI and other statutory authorities
• Provide general legal and compliance support as required

Internship Details

• Duration: 3 to 6 months
• Mode: On-site
• Location: [Office Location, Radhey chambers, Pandri]
• Stipend: ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per month
• Start Date: Immediate / As per mutual convenience

Eligibility & Skills

• Law students with a strong interest in corporate law, fintech law, NBFC regulations, and financial services law
• Good legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced regulatory environment
