Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Legal Intern to join our legal team at Leebo Group. This internship will offer exposure to both corporate law and litigation, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, litigation support, and coordination with external advocates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal research on corporate laws, labour codes, and commercial laws
• Assist in basic drafting and documentation
• Monitor matters handled by external counsel and attend court visits
• Printing, filing, and maintaining legal records
• Support litigation and compliance work

Qualifications:

• Preferably a Law Student (3 years/5 years LLB).
• Basic Drafting Knowledge preferred.
• Pro-Active, Detail Oriented, and willing to learn
• Strong understanding of legal principles and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• An interest in litigation and corporate law.

Previous Experience (Preferred but not Required):

• Previous internship experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or related legal field is preferred.
• Experience assisting in litigation tasks, such as coordinating with advocates, attending hearings, and preparing case files.
• Exposure to managing or using Legal MIS to track cases and deadlines is an advantage.
