Legal Intern - International Law & Financial Regulation

Position: Legal Intern
Duration: 6 months (Full-time)
Location: Noida (Full-time office)
Reporting to: Senior Legal Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated legal intern to assist with a complex international law project involving financial regulation and exchange licensing across multiple jurisdictions, primarily Singapore, Philippines, and India.

Key ResponsibilitiesResearch & Analysis

• Multi-jurisdictional regulatory research (Singapore MAS, Philippines SEC, Indian SEBI/RBI)
• Securities regulation and exchange licensing requirements
• Fintech regulatory frameworks and sandbox applications
• Cross-border compliance and corporate structuring

Documentation & Drafting

• SEC regulatory applications and compliance documents
• Corporate resolutions and cross-border investment structures
• Legal memoranda and regulatory correspondence
• Contract drafting for international service agreements

Specialized Areas

• Event contracts and derivatives regulation
• Exchange technology and clearing house operations
• Cybersecurity and data protection compliance
• ASEAN financial services integration frameworks

Required QualificationsAcademic

• LLB Final Year or LLM from recognized law school
• CGPA 7.5+ or equivalent academic standing
• Specialization in International Law, Corporate Law, or Financial Services preferred

Skills

• Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities
• Understanding of financial markets and derivatives
• Cross-jurisdictional regulatory knowledge
