The Role
We are seeking high-caliber Legal Interns to join our Research & Policy Division. This is a unique opportunity to apply legal theory to real-world civilizational challenges. You will work across all five pillars of Vandanam, helping to build a legal framework that protects truth, nature, and human dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Intellectual Property (IP) Advocacy: Research methods to protect traditional knowledge and indigenous wisdom within modern IP frameworks (Darshan Vandanam).
- Environmental Policy Research: Analyze international climate justice laws and assist in drafting policy recommendations for ecological restoration (Paryavaran Vandanam).
- Human Rights & Nyay: Research legal aid models to make justice accessible for marginalized groups and marginalized communities (Nyay Vandanam).
- Media Law & Ethics: Assist in drafting guidelines for credible, transparent media platforms to counter disinformation (Samvaad Vandanam).
- Governance & Compliance: Assist the Strategic Ops Lead in drafting MoUs, bylaws, and non-profit compliance documents for a global non-governmental organization.
Requirements
- Education: Current Law Student (3rd year or higher in 5-year LL.B / 2nd year or higher in 3-year LL.B) or Recent Graduate.
- Research Prowess: Ability to conduct "surgical" legal research across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ethical Alignment: A deep resonance with the five guiding principles: Compassion, Knowledge, Sustainability, Equality, and Peace.
- Communication: Exceptional drafting skills and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
