The Legal Officer will oversee all labor law and employment-related legal compliance for the rolling mill. This role ensures adherence to statutory requirements, handles employee-related legal matters, manages disputes, and supports HR in policy implementation and disciplinary processes.
Statutory & Labor Law Compliance
Draft and review appointment letters, employment agreements, NDAs, and HR-related contracts. Ensure legal vetting of HR policies, service rules, and standing orders. Manage legal documentation for workers, contractors, and contract labor.
Handle employee-related disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations in compliance with labor laws. Represent the company in labor courts or coordinate with external legal counsel. Minimize legal exposure in disputes related to wages, settlements, or retrenchment.
Advise HR and line managers on handling employee grievances legally. Participate in inquiries related to misconduct, sexual harassment (POSH), or workplace conflicts.
Strong knowledge of central and state labor laws relevant to the steel/rolling industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
