- Handle litigation matters across civil, criminal, labor, and commercial laws impacting the education sector.
- Represent the organization in court proceedings, tribunals, and statutory authorities, directly or through external counsel.
- Draft, review, and vet pleadings, affidavits, rejoinders, petitions, and other litigation-related documents.
- Liaise with external advocates, law firms, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain and track case records, deadlines, and litigation status reports.
- Provide legal opinions on disputes, regulatory issues, and compliance risks in the education industry.
- Advise management on strategies for dispute resolution and alternative dispute mechanisms (ADR).
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and MoUs related to vendors, staff, and education partners.
- Ensure compliance with education sector regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
