Job Description – Legal Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead drafting and review of legal documents including petitions, pleadings, legal notices, affidavits, and commercial contracts (NDAs, MoUs, vendor and service agreements).
  • Manage and oversee litigation matters before courts and tribunals; coordinate with external counsels and ensure timely filings.
  • Handle corporate and commercial legal matters under the Companies Act, Contract Act, LLP Act, and related laws.
  • Identify legal and contractual risks and advise management on risk mitigation and legal strategy.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, including MCA filings, labour laws, GST, and maintenance of compliance calendars.
  • Provide legal research, opinions, and actionable advice to business and leadership teams.
  • Oversee corporate governance activities including board processes, resolutions, ROC filings, and statutory registers.
  • Draft and implement internal policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, operations, and compliance.

Preferred Skills & Exposure:

  • Experience in public procurement and tenders (GeM, GFR 2017).
  • Arbitration and dispute resolution exposure.
  • Knowledge of IP, trademarks, and sector-specific regulations (IT, e-commerce, MSME, data protection).

Requirements:

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in litigation management and contract lifecycle management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
