Legal Manager (Contract & Agreement)

Job Summary:

The Legal Manager will oversee the company’s legal matters with a focus on contracts, agreements, and legal consultation. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, providing legal guidance to business units, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including commercial, vendor, service, and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal consultation to management and various departments on contractual obligations, risk mitigation, and compliance matters.
• Ensure contracts and agreements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify potential legal risks in agreements and propose strategies to mitigate them.
• Support dispute resolution processes, including handling claims, notices, or litigation when necessary.
• Maintain a repository of contracts and track key dates, renewals, and obligations.
• Collaborate with external law firms for specialized legal matters.
• Keep management updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting business operations.
• Conduct internal training sessions on contractual and compliance matters when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master’s degree or professional legal certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in a corporate legal environment, focusing on contracts, agreements, and legal consultation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, and contract law.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
