Position Related
The Legal Manager / Legal Consultant will be responsible for independently managing and advising on all legal matters of Telenor Shared Services Pakistan. The role requires hands-on legal expertise, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to provide timely, practical, and compliant legal support. The consultant is expected to be available on-site as per management instructions and act as the primary legal point of contact for TSS PK.
Goals
Ensure full legal compliance with applicable Pakistani laws, regulatory requirements, and Telenor Group policies.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks impacting TSS PK operations.
Provide clear, business-oriented legal advice that enables informed decision-making.
Ensure timely handling of legal communications, contracts, and disputes.
Strengthen legal governance, documentation standards, and audit readiness across TSS PK.
Your Typical day at work
Advise management and stakeholders on corporate, employment, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, corporate laws, and regulatory obligations.
Support HR and management on disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and compliance cases.
Interpret and advise on Telenor Group policies in alignment with local legal requirements.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, NDAs, and legal notices.
Ensure contractual risk assessment and appropriate risk mitigation clauses.
Maintain standardized legal templates and contract management practices.
Handle all external and internal legal communications on behalf of TSS PK.
Liaise with external legal counsel, regulators, authorities, and other third parties.
Coordinate and support litigation, claims, and dispute resolution activities.
Support internal and external audits by providing legal inputs and documentation.
Identify legal risks and recommend controls and preventive actions.
Maintain proper legal records, trackers, and reporting for management review.
Work closely with HR, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, and Business teams.
Ensure physical availability in office as per management instructions and business needs.
Provide timely responses and hands-on support to urgent legal matters.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualified lawyer with 5–8 years of post-qualification practical experience.
Strong experience in corporate, employment, commercial, and compliance-related legal matters.
Experience working with multinational organizations or shared services environments is preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
High integrity, sound judgment, and strong stakeholder management skills.
