At DK Law, we don’t just represent our clients. We stand with them—all the way. We’re modern injury and accident attorneys who go all the way for every client, from every background. At the heart of our work is a simple but powerful belief: every client’s experience matters, and we honor it as if it were our own. From the very first call to the final resolution, we approach every case with the mindset that it’s going the distance.

That same mindset fuels our workplace culture. We’re a team of purpose-driven professionals who care deeply, move fast, and never lose sight of the human side of what we do. If you're passionate about making an impact, growing with a team that values excellence and empathy, and being part of something bigger, we’d love to meet you.

The Role

DK Law is seeking a highly skilled Legal Negotiator or Attorney with a strong background in commercial cases, catastrophic injuries, and serious high-value personal injury matters. In this role, you will take the lead on complex negotiations, draft powerful settlement demands, and drive strategic case resolutions in pre-litigation.

We are specifically looking for professionals who can navigate high-exposure cases with confidence, influence key stakeholders, and consistently secure exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Closing Statement

We’re excited to grow our team and are handling all hiring in-house. To be considered for this position, please apply directly through Indeed, LinkedIn, or our official company website. All updates, contact, or communication should come straight from our internal recruiting team.

What You Will Do

  • Lead negotiations on commercial claims, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, and other serious PI cases.
  • Draft, review, and refine high-level settlement demands that clearly articulate liability, damages, and impact.
  • Evaluate medical records, expert opinions, and liability factors to uncover leverage points and maximize case value.
  • Strategize negotiation approaches based on policy limits, coverage disputes, defense postures, and jurisdictional considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and opposing counsel to drive timely resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate written records of all negotiation communications, offers, counteroffers, and case status updates.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, case managers, and leadership to ensure full alignment on case strategy.
  • Maintain consistent and professional client communication throughout the negotiation process.
  • Ensure all case activities, deadlines, and updates are accurately documented and calendared.
  • Role may include other relevant duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Attorney or senior-level negotiator with minimum 3+ years handling commercial cases, catastrophic injury claims, and serious PI matters.
  • Proven success negotiating high-value cases ($250k–$1M+, including policy-limits outcomes).
  • Deep knowledge of bodily injury valuation, liability disputes, and insurance negotiation tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex medical and financial damages.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including demand writing and persuasive legal narrative creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal case management software.
  • Ability to operate at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and client-centered communication.

Why DK Law?

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity at our Costa Mesa HQ, and we’re proud to offer top-tier benefits and a work culture that supports your growth:
