Role Overview
We are looking for a Legal Operations Officer who can support daily legal activities, manage coordination between clients and our in-house legal team, and ensure smooth workflow across all legal matters. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel with senior leadership when needed.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day updates on all ongoing legal cases and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with in-house lawyers to track case status, documentation, filings, and next steps.
- Engage with clients regularly to share updates, clarify details, and collect required information.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Prepare, update, and maintain MIS reports for all legal matters and correspondence.
- Draft, review, and respond to emails professionally on behalf of the legal team.
- Follow up with courts, government departments, and external agencies whenever required.
- Assist in preparing legal briefs, summaries, and case notes for internal use.
- Keep track of deadlines, hearing dates, compliance requirements, and document submissions.
- Coordinate travel schedules, meetings, and on-ground support for Senior Partner and Managing Partner.
- Ensure all legal documents are stored, organised, and easily retrievable.
- Support in client onboarding by collecting legal case details, documents, and agreements.
- Handle basic administrative tasks related to legal operations and internal workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled responsibly.
- Provide logistical coordination for court visits, client meetings, and external legal activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong knowledge of legal processes, documentation, and case life-cycle.
- Excellent communication skills with strong command of English.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage timelines under pressure.
- Good relationship-building skills with clients and legal teams.
- Willingness to travel anywhere as required by senior leadership.
- Proficient in email, MS Office, and basic reporting.
