Legal Receptionist / Office Assistant

About The Role

  • Pincus Goodman P.C. is seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist / Office Assistant to support our growing law firm. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and firm needs. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and capable of managing a fast-paced front office environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients.


Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM


Compensation

  • $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system with professionalism and efficiency
  • Schedule appointments and maintain organized calendars
  • Assist attorneys and staff with administrative and operational tasks
  • Prepare, organize, and manage documents and office records
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment


Qualifications

  • Prior front desk or receptionist experience required
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or billing software is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented


Additional Information

  • Legal office experience is a plus but not required
  • Opportunity for growth into a full-time position
