Legal Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for a Growing Solo Criminal Defense Practice

We are a growing criminal defense law firm dedicated to helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Our firm is built on compassion, professionalism, and results — and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us long-term.

What You'll Do

  • Answer calls from new and current clients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
  • Conduct client intake and gather detailed case information
  • Help pre-sell the firm and communicate our value to potential clients
  • Schedule consultations
  • Work directly with our paralegal and attorney to assist with case management and file organization
  • Communicate with clients regarding case updates
  • Maintain deadlines for court appearances and filings
  • Draft correspondence and basic legal documents
  • Help improve office systems and processes

Requirements

Spanish speaking required

✔ Comfortable handling sensitive situations

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Legal assistant or paralegal experience
  • Criminal defense experience (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Clio, Google Drive, Westlaw, or LexisNexis
  • Client intake or sales experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
