We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to help facilitate legal processes, manage case files, and assist attorneys with research and document preparation. Must be fully familiar with MAC computers. Must have SIGNIFICANT law office experience
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize legal documents.

- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, trial preparation and correspondence with exceptional attention to detail.
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Coordinate case files, maintain meticulous records of filings, court deadlines, and client communications to ensure timely submissions.
- Support litigation activities by preparing case summaries, organizing exhibits, and managing document review processes.
- Schedule appointments, interviews with clients or witnesses, court dates, and manage calendar deadlines efficiently.

- Provide executive administrative support
Experience
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary.
- Strong familiarity with family law, probate and civil litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and AI helpful

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently through excellent organizational skills and project management capabilities.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents accurately.
- Strong proofreading abilities to ensure error-free documentation.
- Paralegal experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of document review procedures vital as is supporting attorneys through meticulous research, precise document handling, and seamless office operations—all while fostering a collaborative team spirit that drives success forward.
Pay: $25.64 - $30.88 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 per week
