📣 Hiring: Legal Specialist (Government Relations) – AI Startup | Dubai

I’m supporting a rapidly scaling AI company in Dubai that’s building groundbreaking products and expanding across the region. As they grow, they’re looking for a Legal Specialist with strong Government Relations experience to help navigate regulatory landscapes and manage high-level interactions with UAE government entities.

This is the perfect role for someone who understands the legal side and knows how to build influence, open doors, and ensure smooth approvals and compliance across the UAE.

🔍 Role Overview

You’ll act as a bridge between the company and UAE government bodies, ensuring compliance, securing approvals, and supporting all legal and regulatory initiatives as the business scales.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead all interactions with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and free zones
• Handle licensing, permits, registrations, and regulatory submissions
• Provide legal advice on UAE commercial, tech, data, and AI-related regulations
• Draft and review contracts, MoUs, and legal documentation
• Support government relations strategy to enable business growth
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and guide the leadership team accordingly

📌 What We’re Looking For

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) – mandatory
• Strong experience in UAE Government Relations (5+ years ideal)
• Background working with tech, digital, or fast-growing companies a plus
• Proven ability to manage government processes end-to-end
• Excellent relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with authorities
• Strong understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks
