Overall Job Purpose:
Provide specialized legal support to the company’s operations to ensure the soundness of legal procedures, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, protection of the company’s interests, and mitigation of legal and contractual risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and opinions to various departments in support of the company’s objectives and to ensure regulatory compliance.

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and operational contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and internal policies.

Study and analyze laws, regulations, and relevant decisions related to the company’s activities, and assess their legal and operational impact.

Follow up on legal cases and disputes in which the company is a party, and coordinate with external lawyers and legal consultants.

Represent the company before judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, as well as government authorities, in accordance with approved authorities and powers.

Prepare legal memoranda, periodic reports, and submit recommendations to the legal department management.

Contribute to the development and updating of internal policies and procedures from a legal perspective.

Review operational and commercial practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Maintain and organize legal records, files, and contracts in a systematic and secure manner.

Monitor regulatory and legal developments and raise awareness among relevant departments.

Strictly adhere to confidentiality requirements and professional ethics.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or Sharia from a recognized university.

A higher academic qualification or professional certifications in relevant legal fields is preferred.

Sound knowledge of laws and regulations related to corporate and business activities.

Strong legal drafting skills, including the preparation of legal memoranda and contracts.

Proficiency in using legal systems, applications, and computer software.

Full proficiency in Arabic, both spoken and written, with strong legal drafting skills.

Proficiency in legal English is an added advantage.

Possession of a valid license to practice the profession, where required by applicable regulations.
