Legal/Records Assistant

Legal/Records Assistant (Houston)

Law Firm in East Downtown Houston area seeking legal/records assistant with some legal experience. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and work independently.

Duties could include basic office skills all the way to assisting the team with communication with clients, screening and entering client information into database, collecting and assembling documents from clients and preparing forms, filing documents, calendaring and answering telephones.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with legal databases a plus.
  • A minimum of one year legal experience is a bonus.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, personable and able to interact with clients.
  • Well organized and able to multi-task.
  • Strong typing skills.

compensation: $20 - $25 / Based on experience
