JOB TITLE: Level 1 Hybrid Technician

SALARY RANGE: $45,760 - $52,000 + Benefits
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week / Hybrid
PTO: 10 Days

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Level 1 Hybrid Technician to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the face of our technical support, mainly focusing on onsite project delivery, troubleshooting, and resolving networking issues at client offices. While remote troubleshooting may occasionally be required, your primary responsibility will be to implement projects, attend to onsite client needs, and resolve issues directly at their locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery and Onsite Support:

  • Deliver and implement IT projects onsite, including installations, configurations, and upgrades of computer systems, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Serve as the primary responder for onsite technical support at client offices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues directly at client locations.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues when required.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable technical service.
  • Ensure clients are informed of progress and any updates related to their issues or ongoing projects.

Remote Support (as needed):

  • Occasionally assist in remote troubleshooting and provide technical solutions via phone or a remote session when onsite presence isn’t required.

Technology and Best Practices:

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for clients to optimize their IT systems and networks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience:

At least 2 years of technical support experience, ideally with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).

  • Technical Skills:

Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
Proficiency with IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and networks.

  • Certifications:

Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) preferred.

  • Communication:

Strong verbal and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

  • Customer Service:

Dedication to providing exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

  • Other:

Be willing to travel to client offices regularly as part of the role.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry-recognized certifications like CompTIA, Network+, Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA, or other relevant certifications.
  • Advanced Networking knowledge and diagnostic skills in support tools, IT systems, and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience working in IT Helpdesk or MSP environments.
