We are an established Managed Services Provider (MSP) seeking a dependable Level 2 IT Support Technician for an onsite engagement supporting nonprofit and educational organizations in the Gardena, CA area.
This role is ideal for an experienced independent IT consultant who thrives in end-user environments, enjoys hands-on support work, and is available for a consistent contract with potential for ongoing MSP projects.
Scope of Work
- Provide onsite, hands-on end-user support in nonprofit and educational environments
- Support and troubleshoot:
- Windows 10/11 and macOS workstations and laptops
- Microsoft 365 (O365) (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online)
- Assist with:
- User onboarding/offboarding
- Device setup, imaging, and deployment
- Hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot and manage mobile devices (iPhone & Android)
- Support endpoint security tools such as NinjaOne and/or SentinelOne
- Act as a client-facing technical resource, delivering professional and responsive support
- Work closely with the client’s IT Department on weekly issues
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Level 2 IT support experience in a professional environment
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Windows 10/11 and macOS troubleshooting
- Basic Windows Server / Active Directory support
- Experience using ConnectWise PSA tools for ticket management, time tracking, and documentation is preferred
- Proven ability to support end users in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience working as a 1099 contractor or independent consultant strongly preferred
- Experience supporting nonprofit or educational organizations is a plus
- Must be able to commute onsite to Gardena, CA
- Opportunity for ongoing MSP project work beyond this engagement
Pay: $75.00 per hour
