Position Overview
We are seeking a Level 2 IT Technician with prior MSP experience to support a diverse client base. This role combines hands-on technical work, client interaction, and internal operational support. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional local travel to client sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalated service desk tickets (Level 2 support)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across:
- Windows environments
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Basic networking (VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Endpoint security tools
- Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and resolutions
- Prepare and deploy client machines:
- Imaging and provisioning workstations/laptops
- Installing required applications and tools
- Ensuring devices meet company standards before shipment
- Document work performed and maintain accurate ticket notes
- Collaborate with internal teams on escalations and projects
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, network, and cloud systems
- Experience supporting multiple clients and environments simultaneously
- Ability to manage ticket queues and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ConnectWise (Manage, Automate, or related tools)
- Familiarity with RMM tools and ticketing systems
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools (EDR/MDR)
- Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, etc.)
