Job Overview:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Level 7 OTHM Trainer specializing in Health & Safety or Environmental Management to deliver high-quality training to postgraduate-level learners. The ideal candidate will have both academic expertise and industry experience in occupational health, safety, or environmental management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging training sessions for Level 7 OTHM qualifications in Health & Safety / Environmental Management

Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and learning materials aligned with OTHM standards

Support learners with assignments, research, and professional development

Assess student work and provide detailed, constructive feedback

Track student progress and ensure successful completion rates

Ensure compliance with awarding body guidelines and quality assurance standards

Participate in internal verification (IV) and standardization activities

Requirements:

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in:

Occupational Health & Safety

Environmental Management

Sustainability or related field

Teaching qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training / PGCE)

Experience delivering Level 6/7 UK qualifications (preferably OTHM or similar awarding bodies)

Strong knowledge of:

Occupational Health & Safety regulations

Environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)

Risk assessment and compliance frameworks

Excellent communication and learner engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Membership, IEMA certification)

Experience in online/virtual teaching platforms

Assessor/Internal Verifier qualification (A1/V1 or equivalent)
