Liability Claims Adjuster (W2 – Part-Time | Field-Based, Exempt) – Albany, NY

Alliance Risk Group is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster for a W2 part-time, exempt, field-based role handling a high volume of claims throughout Albany, NY and nearby areas (within 60 miles). While some tasks can be done from home, this role requires being local for site visits and in-person investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate claims by interviewing claimants, insureds, and witnesses
• Analyze liability, negligence, and comparative fault
• Review medical records and reports to evaluate damages
• Set reserves and recommend settlements or denials
• Negotiate with attorneys and third parties
• Prepare detailed reports

Qualifications:

• 3+ years liability or casualty claims adjusting experience
• Strong knowledge of tort law and negligence
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
• Skilled in negotiation and report writing
• Licensed adjuster (or willing to obtain)

Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 annually (W2, exempt, based on experience and claims volume)
