We are seeking an experienced Homeowner's Liability Claims Adjuster to join our Claims Department in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for handling California homeowner's liability claims, including complex bodily injury exposures involving both represented and unrepresented claimants.

Primary Responsibilities

· Investigate and manage California homeowner's third-party liability claims from inception through resolution.

· Handle bodily injury claims involving represented and unrepresented claimants.

· Conduct thorough investigations by interviewing insureds, claimants, witnesses, and other involved parties.

· Analyze policy coverage and determine liability exposure.

· Evaluate damages and establish timely, accurate reserves in accordance with company reserving guidelines.

· Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and insurance carriers.

· Maintain proper claim documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.

· Deliver exceptional customer service through professional verbal and written communication.

· Manage claims independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· 3–5 years of insurance carrier experience handling homeowner's liability claims.

· Strong knowledge of liability investigations, coverage analysis, negotiation, and claim resolution.

· Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills.

· Ability to effectively manage multiple claims and competing priorities.

Preferred

· Bachelor's degree.

· Professional designations such as AIC, CPCU, SCLA, or equivalent.

· Experience handling represented bodily injury claims and attorney-negotiated settlements.

Work Location & Schedule

· Full-time, 4 days in-office and remote Friday position located in Phoenix, Arizona.

· 8-hour workday plus 1-hour lunch.

· Candidates must reside in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
