Librarian

Librarian vacancy in Dibba-El-Fujairah UAE

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Librarian in a library or educational institution, and be ready to consider immigrants for the role. Salary: 1300 AED per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage the library and its resources, including books, videos, audio materials, magazines, and other materials.
• Oversee the cataloguing system and ensure all items are properly shelved and organized.
• Assist patrons with research needs by helping them find relevant materials or by teaching them how to use online resources.
• Manage new acquisitions and maintain accurate records of circulation activity.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Librarian in a library or educational institution.
• Proficient in using computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide helpful assistance to patrons.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to collaborate with colleagues when needed.
