Librarian

Overview

Librarian in El-Fujairah, UAE. We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah. The successful candidate will join a library with a focus on providing excellent customer service and a wide range of resources for our patrons. We are willing to consider qualified applicants, including foreign nationals who can work legally in El-Fujairah and have relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the library's circulation of books and other materials
• Cataloging new materials and updating existing records
• Providing reference services to patrons
• Managing overdue fines
• Assisting with programming activities such as book clubs or storytimes
• Maintaining accurate records of library usage
• Developing policies for the use of library resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working in a library setting
• Knowledge of library rules and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary: 1500 AED per month.
