Librarian/Library & Student Device Coordinator: St. Sebastian School

Help Students Grow as Readers, Researchers, and Responsible Digital Learners St. Sebastian Parish School is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled Librarian / Library & Student Device Coordinator who will help students discover a love of reading while supporting effective technology use in our PreK-8 Catholic school community.

The Role The Librarian / Library & Student Device Coordinator will: Lead weekly library instruction for PreK-5 students Cultivate student reading engagement and support literacy growth Curate and manage library collections that support classroom curriculum Teach age-appropriate research skills using print and digital tools Coordinate Chromebook distribution, tracking, and repair workflows for grades 6-8 Support classroom cart/device maintenance and end-of-year collection processes Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Qualifications Required Strong commitment to Catholic education Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through Ability to manage both student-facing and operational responsibilities VIRTUS training and successful background screening (FBI/BCI) Preferred Experience with school library systems (Work Flows/Neo Net a plus) MLIS, reading background, K-5 certification, or related experience
