REPORTS TO: LIBRARY DIRECTOR
LOCATION: 67 PARK STREET
HOURS: 24 HOURS PER WEEK
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Library Director and the general supervision of the Librarians, carries out clerical and statistical procedures associated with any or all library departments. Deals directly with the public and answers both directional and informational queries at the Reference, Children’s, orCirculation desks. Assists patrons with other tasks as required. Performs specialized duties, which may include checking the status of library materials and assisting with children’s, teen or adult programs, or other activities as directed. Variable schedule includes rotating nights, Saturdays and Sundays. Represented by the Guilford Employee Association (GEA).
