Under general supervision, the Library Assistant provides an exceptional customer experience for all library users, promotes the library’s resources and programs to the public, and ensures expedient circulation of materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in customer service.
- Strong technology skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating
systems.
- Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with peers, superiors, other City
departments, subordinates, vendors, contractors, external government agencies and organizations.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
