Library Branch Manager

Job Overview
The Williston Branch Library is seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to manage the daily operations of the library. The Branch Manager will be responsible for circulation and reference duties, organizing, weeding and shelving material, planning, promoting and conducting Library programs and activities and maintaining a clean, safe and orderly library.

Duties

  • Educate patrons on library resources, services, and programs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the library.
  • Manage projects that promote library services and engage the community.
  • Foster a collaborative environment through effective communication.

Experience
Must have good communication, interpersonal, and technology skills to provide excellent customer service related to library services and programs. Strong organizational skills are required to effectively manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with integrated library system is helpful but not mandatory.

Requirements

HS diploma plus customer service and computer experience.
