Albany Law School seeks candidates for the role of Library Clerk in our Schaffer Law Library. Are you detail-oriented, organized, and curious about how libraries operate behind the scenes? In this position, you'll be responsible for a range of core functions, including: processing and tracking invoices with accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining serial control records in our integrated library system, supporting administrative tasks, checking in and managing state depository materials, and contributing to special projects as needed. This is a behind-the-scenes role with limited patron interaction—ideal for someone who enjoys focused, independent work. Your efforts directly impact our patrons’ access to reliable and up-to-date information by ensuring accurate serial check-ins and invoice processing.
