Library Teacher (Elementary School)

The Crescent Academy is growing and in need of additional teaching special area teaching staff! We are currently accepting part-time teacher applications for in the special area subjects of Art, Physical Education and Library. These positions can also be combined to create a full-time position.

Primary duties include the preparation and execution of rigorous lesson plans aligned to New York’s NextGen curriculum. Teachers create and support a safe and positive learning environment which fosters the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social potential of each student. Additionally, teachers maintain daily attendance records, frequent parent communication, and timely student progress reports, while also arranging extra-curricular learning experiences and field trips, completing staff development opportunities, and creating a constructive discipline policy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
