About Us

Dermacare Plastic Surgery & Wellness is a physician-led practice offering plastic surgery, aesthetics, medical-grade skincare, body contouring, wellness, and functional health services. We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Licensed Aesthetician who is passionate about skincare, aesthetics, patient education, and helping individuals achieve their long-term aesthetic and wellness goals.

This is a relationship-based, consultative position. Successful candidates enjoy educating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, discussing products and services, and serving as a long-term guide throughout each patient's aesthetic and wellness journey. This is an excellent opportunity for an aesthetician who wants to expand beyond facials and develop expertise in advanced aesthetic treatments, body contouring technologies, patient consultations, treatment planning, and practice operations. Over time, the successful candidate will be expected to cultivate and grow their own patient following through exceptional patient care, education, relationship-building, and treatment plan development.

Position Overview

This role serves as both an aesthetic provider and patient experience coordinator. Initially, the primary clinical responsibility will be performing facials and supporting the Master Aesthetician by managing overflow aesthetic appointments. Over time, the successful candidate will build their own client base, expand their treatment offerings, and become a trusted resource for patients seeking guidance on skincare, aesthetic treatments, body contouring, wellness services, and surgical options.

The ideal candidate enjoys educating patients, building relationships, discussing treatment options, and helping patients understand the full range of services available within the practice. This position plays an important role in patient education, treatment plan implementation, patient retention, and practice growth. The successful candidate must be comfortable discussing recommendations, treatment packages, skincare products, and long-term aesthetic plans with patients.

Essential Responsibilities

Patient Consultations & Treatment Planning

  • Perform comprehensive skin assessments and aesthetic evaluations.
  • Discuss patient concerns, goals, expectations, and treatment priorities.
  • Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans based on patient goals, skin condition, lifestyle factors, and budget considerations.
  • Educate patients regarding skincare products, aesthetic treatments, body contouring services, wellness offerings, and surgical procedures available through the practice.
  • Collaborate with the Master Aesthetician and providers regarding treatment recommendations and patient care plans.
  • Document consultations, treatment recommendations, and follow-up plans.
  • Build long-term patient relationships through ongoing education, communication, and support.
  • Present and explain recommended treatment plans, skincare regimens, device treatments, and package options in a professional, educational, and patient-centered manner.

Clinical Aesthetic Services

  • Perform facials and aesthetic treatments within the scope of licensure.
  • Manage overflow facial appointments assigned by the Master Aesthetician.
  • Maintain treatment rooms and ensure a high standard of patient care and experience.
  • Assist with treatment preparation, patient flow, and clinical support as needed.

BTL Device Operations

Candidates should be willing and excited to learn advanced medical technology platforms and become knowledgeable enough to educate patients regarding indications, treatment plans, expected outcomes, and maintenance recommendations. Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting consultations and patient education.
  • Explaining treatment protocols and expected outcomes.
  • Performing treatments as assigned and permitted.
  • Assisting patients in understanding treatment plans and package recommendations.
  • Supporting patient retention and long-term treatment success.

Patient Communication & Front Office Support

  • Answer incoming phone calls, assist with scheduling, respond to patient inquiries, and provide front-office support as needed.
  • Schedule consultations, treatments, and follow-up appointments.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, pricing, financing, and treatment options.
  • Assist patients with treatment package purchases and payment processing.
  • Support patient financing discussions and coordinate payment arrangements when appropriate.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and electronically.

Systems & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients and manage appointments within practice software platforms.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assist with patient follow-up and retention initiatives.
  • Create, update, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), treatment protocols, workflows, and patient education materials.
  • Utilize practice management and CRM platforms, including Aesthetic Record, Symplast, LeadLoop, RepeatMD, and related systems to schedule appointments, document patient interactions, manage follow-up communications, and support patient retention initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing staff training and continuing education.

Marketing, Community Outreach & Practice Growth Responsibilities

  • Support the practice's public relations, marketing, and patient engagement efforts.
  • Assist with creating, reviewing, editing, and updating content for the practice website, social media channels, email campaigns, blogs, patient education materials, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in content creation efforts, including photos, videos, treatment demonstrations, patient education content, and social media campaigns.
  • Assist with practice events, open houses, educational seminars, community outreach programs, vendor events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Represent the practice professionally in the community and help foster relationships that contribute to practice growth.
  • Collaborate with providers and team members to identify patient education opportunities and create materials that support patient understanding and engagement.
  • Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms and tools, as directed, to assist with marketing, patient education, operational, and content development initiatives. A willingness to learn and work with emerging AI technologies is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Aesthetician License required.
  • Minimum 1 year of aesthetic experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in skincare, longevity treatments, wellness, body contouring, and aesthetic medicine.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Comfortable discussing treatment plans, educating patients, and confidently presenting treatment recommendations.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated initiative and desire to build a loyal patient following over time.
  • Comfortable participating in marketing, community outreach, patient education, and social media initiatives.
  • Comfortable appearing in educational videos, social media content, and marketing materials on behalf of the practice.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and utilizing new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence platforms and tools.

Highly Desired Experience

  • Experience with BTL technologies.
  • Experience in a plastic surgery, dermatology, medspa, or wellness practice.
  • Experience with medical-grade skincare product lines.
  • Familiarity with functional health and wellness concepts.
  • Working knowledge of patient financing options, membership programs, loyalty programs, and promotional offerings.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications and may include hourly pay, treatment incentives, retail incentives, and performance-based opportunities.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
