Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Job Overview
Amethyst Behavioral Healthcare is building a new outpatient program and are hiring our first LADC to help shape it from the ground up. We are looking for a motivated LADC who wants real growth—not just another job.This role will be central to program development, client care, and helping establish clinical standards.

You’ll work closely with experienced leadership, gain exposure to program development, and strengthen your clinical skills across assessment, group work, and co-occurring care. This is an opportunity to have meaningful influence over how services are delivered—not just follow a prebuilt system.

Core Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, recovery-focused groups (IOP – 15 hrs/week)
• Provide individual counseling sessions and support clients through real-life change
• Complete comprehensive assessments
• Develop and update strong Individual Treatment Plans
• Coordinate care with referral sources and community partners
• Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations
• Collaborate directly with leadership on program development

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary $65,000-$75,000
• PTO and paid holidays

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Daytime hours (structured IOP schedule)
• No weekends

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• LADC or ADC-T in Minnesota (Required)
