Aim Star Learning, a provider of high-quality ABA therapy in Washington State serving King County and Kittitas County is seeking a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) at our Ellensburg, WA location.

Aim Star Learning is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) to join our team. As a key member of our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center, the LABA will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with autism and related developmental disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive behavioral outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify target behaviors and their underlying causes.
  • Collaborate with the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to analyze assessment data and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Behavior Intervention Planning:
  • Design and implement behavior intervention plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

Direct Client Services:

  • Provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy to clients.
  • Collect and analyze behavior data during therapy sessions to assess progress and modify intervention strategies accordingly.
  • Training and Supervision:
  • Provide training and supervision to Behavior Technicians and other team members.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to ensure staff adherence to ABA principles and implementation fidelity.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and other team members.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to client care.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, interventions, and assessments.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current Washington State license as an Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA).

Experience:

  • Minimum of [X] years of experience working in the field of ABA.
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
