Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) or Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities in home, school, and community environments. The LABA will work under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst to implement individualized behavior support plans, monitor client progress, and train caregivers and school staff in behavior intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA-based programs and behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising LBA.
- Provide direct supervision, parent education, and direct services (on occasion) to clients and their families in naturalistic settings, including homes, schools, and community locations.
- Conduct skill acquisition programming and behavior reduction strategies using data-driven techniques.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) under supervision.
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other service providers to support generalization and consistency across environments.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist in training caregivers, paraprofessionals, or school staff on behavior plans and ABA principles.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational policies and funding sources.
- Ensure services comply with ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA and BACB guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Active LABA license in the state of Washington
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and required clearances
- Preferred:
- Experience working in home, school, clinic, and/or community-based settings
- 1-2 years of experience providing ABA services
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems (e.g., Motivity, CentralReach, Rethink)
