Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) – Child Focused

Healing Life Counseling, PLLC is a growing Arizona-based private practice committed to providing compassionate, high quality mental health care to individuals and families. We are currently looking for an Associate Licensed Therapist to join our Tucson team. Board approved clinical supervision is provided for associate level clinicians.

At this time we are particularly interested in a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who enjoys working with children and teens. While children may make up a meaningful portion of your caseload, there is flexibility to also work with adolescents or adults depending on your clinical interests and professional goals. This role allows clinicians to build a well-rounded caseload while receiving ongoing support and mentorship.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to provide therapy through both in-person and telehealth sessions. Clinicians work collaboratively with clients to identify treatment goals and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s needs.

We are looking for a clinician who values strong therapeutic relationships, maintains professional documentation, and is motivated to continue growing their clinical skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy services including individual, family, couples, or group therapy as appropriate
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals
• Complete clinical documentation and case notes in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in clinical supervision and occasional training opportunities
• Maintain a flexible schedule that may include some evening availability to meet client needs
• Maintain a minimum of 12 billable client sessions per week, in addition to documentation and case management responsibilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field
• Current Associate License in Arizona (LAC required)
• Experience working with children is strongly preferred
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
