Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences.
• Utilize various barbering techniques including straight razor cuts and hair extensions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized styling recommendations.
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
• Keep accurate records of services provided using salon software to manage appointments and client history.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques to offer clients the best options available.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business through excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio showcasing hair styling skills.
• Proficiency in using salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
• Ability to perform basic retail math for upselling products and managing transactions.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene in the workplace.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that promotes client satisfaction.
