Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) – School-Based Position (New Jersey)

Position Title: Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)

Reports To: Clinical Director or Director of Special Education

Position Summary:
The Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) provides school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. The LBA conducts assessments, develops behavior intervention plans, collaborates with educational staff, supervises behavior technicians, and supports students in achieving behavioral, social, communication, and academic goals within the educational environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and individualized behavior support strategies.
  • Provide direct and consultative ABA services in accordance with students' IEPs.
  • Supervise and train Behavior Technicians, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other support staff.
  • Collect, review, and analyze behavioral and educational data to guide treatment and educational recommendations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, administrators, and parents.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide behavioral recommendations to the educational team.
  • Conduct staff and parent training on behavior management and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with New Jersey regulations, school district policies, and BACB ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, supervision records, and service logs.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based behavioral supports.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Work Environment:
Services are provided within public and private school settings. The LBA works closely with educational personnel and families to support student success in the least restrictive environment and promote meaningful educational progress.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour
