We are currently seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to provide counseling, lecturing, success planning, and coaching sessions to guests at Pritikin Longevity Center.

This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who is passionate about wellness, lifestyle medicine, and helping individuals achieve sustainable behavioral change. The therapist will work within an interdisciplinary medical team to support guests in emotional regulation, stress management, habit change, and long-term success planning.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling and behavioral health consultations to Pritikin guests
• Deliver engaging lectures and psychoeducational presentations
• Facilitate success planning and behavior change coaching
• Utilize evidence-based modalities including:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Motivational Interviewing
• Collaborate with medical, nutrition, and fitness teams to support integrated care
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Therapist (Psychologist, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
• Master’s or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience in:
• Counseling
• Coaching
• Nutritional counseling and/or
• Substance abuse treatment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and deliver high-quality lectures and presentations
• Experience teaching or public speaking
• Coaching mindset with structured behavior change expertise
• Documentation of guest services
• Interest in wellness and lifestyle medicine
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
