Licensed Chiropractic Assistant/Front Desk/Marketer/PAID SCHOOL TUITION

Working as a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) as part of a Dynamic Team across multiple Baltimore region healthcare office locations.

CA's and front desk staff answer phones, set up appointments, maintain patient records, and facilitate payments at a busy Chiropractic, injury treatment & Physical Therapy practice. CA's work with the Chiropractor and act as the go-between to help manage an efficient flow of patients to maximize staff time during office hours.

Marketers help to generate new business and promote our practice. Chiropractic assistants must possess excellent phone skills and be willing to work with existing and new patients to help set up appointments. The assistant also serves as the “face” of the chiropractic office and should cheerfully greet each person arriving for an appointment and ensure that any delays or waiting time to see the chiropractor is communicated in a positive and patient-friendly manner. CA's also help keep records updated of patient visits and must have that information organized in a manner that allows the Chiropractor to easily access this data.

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills,
  • Basic office automation computer skills (email, printers, scanners, PC & tablet computers)
  • Ability to Learn Electronic Health Records and Practice Management technology
  • Superior People Skills

Successful candidates will also have Ability to attend Professional Development Courses in pursuit of Healthcare Industry Certifications. If hired Supervising Chiropractor will pay "CA Candidates" tuition for a Maryland Chiropractic Assistant Certification Course and is responsible to document in service training hours learning how to:

  • Eventually perform modalities such as electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, therapeutic exercise, ultrasound and hot and cold pack applications.
  • Assist Doctor performing Chiropractic patient therapy and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Supervise patient during procedures, informing the Doctor of any changes or issues.

The educational requirements for the position are normally a high school diploma or college degree. Chiropractic Assistants must be willing to work various days and hours, including weekends and evenings. However, we are accepting applications for both full and part time positions. Applicants need very strong organizational skills and an ability to spend much of their workday on their feet. Having your own reliable car/transportation is preferred, as is a good familiarity with computers. Being bi-lingual, especially fluency in English and Spanish, is a plus, but NOT necessary.
