Title: Clinical Coordinator
Location: Elmsford NY- Hybrid/Remote schedule
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. The Clinical Program Coordinator is a licensed clinician (LMHC or LCSW) and supervisor who oversees our clinical services. The ideal candidate has knowledge in providing trauma informed therapeutic services to individuals, groups and families of all ages. The Clinical Program Coordinator provides direct services, ensures staff efficiency, completes administrative responsibilities, and coordinates clinical services in support of the VAS mission. The role also involves being apart of our leadership team.
Position Responsibilities & Specific Duties
- Provide direct victim services including crisis intervention and trauma-focused therapy to a small caseload.
- Clinical supervision of Trauma Therapists, contractors and interns
- Assist Director and Management Support Team with coordination and execution of programs and services as well as other administrative tasks
- Provide clinical support to VAS staff in relation to advocacy (i.e. EA Letters & guidance on crisis management)
- Submission of monthly and annual reports assigned by the Director.
- Administrative tasks including but not limited to monthly stats, audits and reviewing monthly documents.
- Conducts case file reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with program staff to clarify grantee deliverables.
- Assisting with grant writing pertaining to your program.
- Represent VAS in community organizations, on committees, and at events
- Provide training to WestCOP VAS and community organizations about trauma and clinical programs as needed.
- Execute our Annual Art Show
- Liaisons with community service providers (mental health, schools, colleges, etc)
- Crisis Response as needed.
- Mass Violence Committee
Qualifications
- MA degree in clinical field required
- Must be licensed as a LMHC or LCSW in NYS (Diagnostic privilege a plus)
- Excellent writing skills, public speaking skills and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with strong clinical skills and knowledge of human behavior, psychosocial development and trauma treatment.
- Willingness to stay abreast of professional practice and theory as well as developments in victim services.
- Integrity, acute social judgment, empathy and a demonstrated rapport with client groups are a must.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, an understanding of victimology, and experience working with trauma a plus
- Background in women’s issues, domestic violence, sexual assault and social justice preferred.
- Driver’s license and car required
- Must have strong knowledge of MS Office (including strong excel skills) and G-Suite (Google Drive and Google applications a must)
- Specialized therapeutic trainings a plus ( EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, etc)

Salary range $78,000- $83,000 commensurate with experience
