Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to mainly pediatric patients, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and crisis intervention, to diverse populations across various settings. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for individuals and groups.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
  • Implement specialized interventions including motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, ensuring seamless integration of services across medical, mental health, and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR systems), adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
  • Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral emergencies.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of motivational interviewing, crisis management, and case management strategies.
  • Experience providing child & family counseling, working with children with disabilities or autism, and delivering services in home or community settings.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation requirements such as CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems, and medical records management.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments for pediatric mental health conditions like ADD/ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, ODD etc.
  • Knowledge of social work principles within behavioral health contexts including patient care coordination and intake procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting diagnostic evaluations, group therapy sessions, and patient education while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
