Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide expert mental health counseling, clinical assessments, and case management services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, and behavioral issues within a supportive and collaborative environment. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, or other disabilities
  • Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral emergencies
  • Collaborate with medical professionals on medication management and psychopharmacology considerations when appropriate
  • Facilitate case management activities to coordinate care across home, community, hospital settings, and special education environments

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC and or Counseling residents in training in the relevant state or jurisdiction
  • Proven experience working with children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities, or geriatrics in clinical or community settings
  • Strong knowledge of mental health counseling modalities including motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and diagnostic evaluation using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection; experience with CPT coding is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical records management
  • Experience in hospital settings or home/community care environments is highly desirable
  • Certification or training in addiction counseling or psychopharmacology is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
