Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker to join our therapy clinic team. This role focuses on supporting clients and families through emotional, behavioral, and social challenges while collaborating with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other providers to deliver holistic care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, social work interventions, addiction counseling, and family or child & family counseling.
  • Implement motivational interviewing techniques to foster positive behavioral change and enhance patient engagement in treatment.
  • Manage cases involving patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's care, PTSD, and other complex conditions by coordinating care with families, caregivers, and community resources.
  • Document all clinical encounters accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals on hospital units or community settings to ensure seamless patient care through case management and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Participate in clinical research activities or data collection efforts aimed at improving treatment outcomes and advancing behavioral health practices.
  • Respond effectively to crisis situations with appropriate crisis management techniques while maintaining professionalism and compassion at all times.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention.
  • Strong working knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques for motivating behavioral change across diverse populations.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and developmental disabilities
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation within EMR systems; understanding of HIPAA compliance for safeguarding patient information.
  • Ability to perform intake assessments effectively while managing complex case management responsibilities across hospital or community settings.
  • Excellent communication skills suited for social work practice; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic care plans.
  • Knowledge of special education needs related to behavioral health interventions for children with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Experience in working within medical environments such as hospitals or clinics; familiarity with psychopharmacology considerations when applicable. Pay: $44.44 - $53.52 per hour
