The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides assessment and treatment of behavioral and mental health conditions for individuals, couples, and families. This role delivers psychotherapy, coordinates care, and assists patients in accessing community resources to support overall well-being. The LCSW functions independently within the scope of licensure and contributes to continuity of care through treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with medical and behavioral health providers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Gather and analyze client information through observation, interviews, self-report tools, group interaction, and formal assessments.
Diagnose behavioral and mental health disorders in accordance with DSM-5-TR and utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families using culturally responsive approaches, including conducting risk assessments and providing crisis intervention as needed.
Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment and discharge plans in collaboration with clients and supports.
Assist clients in strengthening communication skills and coping strategies to address cognitive, behavioral, and emotional barriers.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers, including participation in integrated behavioral health and collaborative care models with medical providers; refer clients to specialists or community resources as appropriate.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and complete billing or insurance reporting requirements.
Prepare clinical feedback reports and participate in consultation, training needs assessments, and program support activities.
Ensure compliance with professional ethical standards, licensure requirements, and organizational policies.
Manage assigned caseload and meet department productivity standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Deliver services in an outpatient behavioral health setting, including in-person and telehealth modalities.
Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
Manage exposure to emotionally sensitive or high-stress situations.
