Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Overview
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental health and well-being of individuals and families. You will provide compassionate support through psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and comprehensive case management. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their challenges, fostering resilience and promoting positive change in their lives.

What you’ll do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, creating a safe environment for clients to express themselves and engage in healing.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper data collection.
• Engage in clinical research to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
• Offer specialized support for children and families, including those dealing with developmental disabilities, PTSD, marital/family and behavioral challenges.

Basic qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with medical terminology.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with autism or other disabilities.
• Background in home and community care settings to enhance client engagement outside the office environment.
• Specialty experience in CBT, marriage counseling and EMDR

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
