Position Overview:

Palm Beach Healing Institute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team as a 1099 contractor, in Stuart Florida. In this role, you will provide therapy to teen and young adult clients, offering both virtual and in-person sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of youth and young adults.

Responsibilities:

- Provide individual therapy to teen and young adult clients (ages 13-25) in both virtual and in-person settings.

- Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients and their families, when appropriate.

- Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

- Maintain a caseload of 10+ clients per week, with the goal of maintaining between 10-20 clients per week. Must be available during the daytime, evening hours, or some weekends.

- Ensure that all documentation, including treatment notes and progress reports, are completed accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with institute policies.

- Collaborate with other members of the Palm Beach Healing Institute team, as needed, to ensure the best care for clients.

- Stay up-to-date with best practices, therapeutic techniques, and relevant mental health issues affecting teens and young adults.

Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

- Valid and current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Registered Intern.

- Experience working with teen and young adult clients, including those with a variety of mental health concerns (anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, etc.).

- Ability to maintain a caseload of 10+ clients per week, with the goal of 10-20 clients per week.

- Must be available during daytime, evening or weekend hours.

- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and the ability to conduct virtual sessions effectively.

- Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, with both in-person and virtual therapy sessions.

- Ability to provide culturally competent care and be sensitive to the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.

Compensation:

- This is a 1099 contractor position with a set rate per session.
